After years of burying his impeccable criminal past, Anti-Hero Greg Ryan, a greasy old crop duster and family man from rural Bakersfield, CA, comes out of criminal retirement to yet again mastermind bizarre and illegal jobs for The Perch; a strange syndicate that offers to satisfy the evil whims of an elite society for boatloads of cash.
Greg, aka “Redneck MacGyver”, has an exclusively brilliant gift for problem solving and concocting genius-level plans, yet lacks common social graces and an emotional connection with his family. When Greg is threatened to pay his debt back to his dangerous ex partner Felix Castillo, proprietor of The Perch and fall guy who served prison time for both of their crimes... Greg plunges his whole family deep into the underworld in a risky gambit to keep them alive.

Now, they must not only embrace their old selves, but they’re going to need the help of their capable sons in order to keep them from paying the ultimate price for their past sins. What would it be like if kids had to bail their parents out of trouble... by becoming criminals? Greg and Debbie will have the ultimate challenge of either owning up to their crimes and dealing with the deadly consequences that might fall upon their children… OR, being complicit in more crime in order to keep their sons alive.
We ask the question: Is their morality in choosing the lesser of two evils?
